Idea 3G Services/ Activate/ Settings/ APN/ 2G/ 3G/ GPRS/ WAP/ MMS/ Manual Internet Configuration

Activate Idea 3G Services....

You need a 3G compatible handset.

To know your handset is supported 3G, SMS  'CHECK' to 12345

To Activate 3G Services, SMS 'ACT3G' to 12345


Idea 3G Settings....

To get Idea 3G Settings, SMS 'SET' to 54671
and save the settings which you received. Video Call option will be automatically activated....

You can also manually Add the APN in your Mobile.


Take New Access Point from the Settings Menu....and type the following information....

Manual Idea 3G Settings

Connection Name	idea_internet
Data Bearer	Packet Data
Access Point Name	internet
Authentication	Normal
Home Page	http://www.google.in
User Name	Blank
Password	Blank

Once you have entered these settings, take the option and 'SAVE' it...

Still you have any problem with your 3G Settings, go to Access Point Names and Press 'Reset to Default'

Data Bearer	Packet Data
Access Point Name	imis
Authentication	Normal
Home Page	http://wap.ideafresh.com
User Name	Blank
Password	Blank

Manual Idea MMS Settings

Connection Name	idea_mms

Access Point Name	mmsc
Authentication	Normal
Home Page	http://10.4.42.21:8002
User Name	Blank
Password	Blank

Deactivate Idea 3G Services....

You can simply deactivate your Idea 3G Services, SMS 'DEACT3G' to 12345
